Angry Birds 2 now available for iOS and Android devices
Finnish game developer Rovio has released Angry Birds 2, the first sequel to its highly popular gamer that was released in 2009.
The game comes with new gameplay, refreshed graphics, multi-stage level and promises more destruction than before. Also there are new spells including blizzards, magic ducks and hot chilli peppers to wield against the pigs. It retains the same slingshot format to destroy pig castles. You can also challenge other players worldwide in a new arena mode.
In Angry Birds you can:
- Collect and choose your own birds, build your flock and master new slingshot strategies to discover new and amazing worlds on Piggy Island
- Play through jaw-droppingly stunning multi-stage levels brimming with exotic plants, quirky details and plenty of peril
- Use spectacular spells to pop the pigs with blizzards, chilis and magic ducks for maximum destruction
- Defeat the new end-of-stage evil boss piggies — such as the infamous King Pig, Foreman Pig and Chef Pig — to discover new worlds and get the eggs back from the baddies
- For once and for all, settle who is the best and most hardcore Angry Birds player in the world by entering the Arena. Here you can challenge other players across the world and earn feathers to level up your flock
- Earn Gems for extra birds, lives and tickets by playing the game and completing quests, and by watching videos or paying with real money
Angry Bird is now available to download on Android and iOS devices. It is free to play, but offers in-app purchases.
Rovio announces Angry Birds 2, flocks into app stores on July 30.
After releasing 15 games starring Angry Birds over the span of six years, Rovio has announced a sequel to the Angry Birds game - Angry Birds 2. Rovio says that Angry Birds 2 will be bigger, badder and birder, but other details of the game are still a mystery. Rovio will reveal more details of the game on July 28 in press events scheduled to be held in New York City and San Francisco.
Angry Birds 2 will flock into app stores on July 30 and is expected to be available for Android, iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry 10 on the launch day.

So far, Angry Bird franchise has received 3 billion game download, said the company. Apart from the original Angry Birds, the franchise include popular games like Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio, Angry Birds Friends, Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Star Wars, Angry Birds Star Wars 2, Angry Birds Transformers, Angry Birds Go!, Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Fight!, Angry Birds Stella, Angry Birds Stella Pop!, Bad Piggies and Angry Birds Under Pigstruction.
