Over 1 lakh units of Yu Yuphoria will be available in open sale between July 21 and 23
Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures announced that more than 100,000 units of Yuphoria will be available in open sale exclusively via Amazon India from July 21 to 23. The units that will be up for grabs is the largest batch of Yuphoria till date and is the first lot to be 'Made in India'.
The announcement was made on Yu's twitter handle that read "Get ready for a triple dose of happiness! #Yuphoria - Made in India." The tweet includes an attached image that said "No registrations, no time limits."
To recap, the Yuphoria is Yu's second smartphone after the Yureka. It features 5-inch HD display, 1.2GHz 64-bit Snadragon 410 processor, 2G RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP/5MP camera, 4G LTE support and 2230mAh battery with Quick Charge support. It runs Cyanogen OS 12 based Android 5.0 Lollipop. It carries the price tag Rs. 6,999.

50,000 units of YU Yureka Plus goes out of stock in first flash sale
Micromax subsidary Yu Televentures recently outed its third smartphone, the Yu Yureka Plus, successor to Yureka which was released in December last year. The handset was up for grabs today on Amazon India via flash sale.
Priced at Rs. 9,999, Yu claims to have sold 50,000 units of the Yureka Plus in its first flash sale on Amazon India. The company has not specified the exact time taken for the stocks to get vanished.
The second flash sale will take place on July 30, for which registrations have already begun. However, the company has not revealed the number of units that will be available for next sale.
The YU Yureka Plus comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 SoC with an octa-core processor, coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. Camerwise its sports 12MP/5MP camera, supports 4G LTE and is backed by 2500mAh battery. It runs Cyanogen 12 OS based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, has dual SIM slots and comes in Moondust Grey and Alabaster White colors.
YuFit will be made available via flash sales on Amazon India for Rs. 999 starting July 29
The YuFit smartband has an OLED screen. It displays time and notifications from your smartphones including e-mail, call alerts and text messages. The screen also displays number of steps taken, distance walked and other fitness parameters. It can also act as a shutter release button for the smartphones camera and can work with the alarm on the smartphone to alert and vibrate the user. It also comes with find My phone feature that locates user's paired smartphone. It is compatible with Android smartphones and connects via Bluetooth.
YuFit is integrated with Healthifyme app which shows all the information related to steps, distance and calories consumed and more. The app contains an extensive database of international and Indian foods to help users to to count calories consumed. It also helps users to track if they have reached their fitness goal thus working as a coach for assistance. Users can chat with personal coaches, nutritionists, etc to guide, listen to feedback and motivate them. Users can also monitor the weight with the help of the app.
Amazon India lists Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage
Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime is equipped with quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 4.7-inch 720p IPS fully laminated display, Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI 6 on top, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front shooter, WiFi, Bluetooth, Dual-SIM & microSD card slot, 4G LTE with support for TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India and 2200mAh battery.
Unfortunately, the Amazon India listing does not reveal the price of Redmi 2 Prime. The Xiaomi Redmi 2 was launched in India for Rs. 6,999 and last month Xiaomi reduced the price of the handset to Rs. 5,999. So, it could be possible that Redmi 2 Prime will cost Rs. 6,999. It will be competing against Micromax's Yu Yuphoria and Canvas Spark.
OnePlus 2 Bamboo, Kevlar, Rosewood, and Black Apricot StyleSwap covers now available on Amazon India
The Bamboo cover has been crafted from world-renowned 'Nan Bamboo' grown in Taojiang, China giving each cover a unique pattern, no two Bamboo StyleSwap covers are same. The Kevlar cover is made from DuPont Kevlar fibre, a rugged material used in bulletproof armor. The Rosewood vocer is made of South American Rosewood and the Black Apricot cover has been crafted from real apricot wood from Morocco.
OnePlus has also started selling other accessories including tempered glass screen protector (Rs. 599), premium screen protector (Rs. 499) and flip covers (Rs. 699) for OnePlus 2 on Amazon India.
It is worth noting that, the Bamboo StyleSwap cover for OnePlus One was made available in India months after the phone was launched in the country. This time OnePlus has decided to launch the StyleSwap covers for the OnePlus 2, along with the OnePlus 2. OnePlus started selling the OnePlus 2 in India last week via its online sales partner Amazon.
