Intel launches 6th Gen i5 and i7 processors for powerful desktop PCs
The Intel Core i5-6600k packs a 3.5GHz quad-core processor with 6MB of cache and turbo speeds up to 3.9GHz. Intel Core i7-6700K on the other hand has a 4GHz quad-core processor with 8MB of cache, burst speeds up to 4.2GHz and supports Hyper-Threading scheme that allows each core to execute two threads (eight threads). Both are 14nm chips that have TDP of 91 watts.
Both models feature Integrated HD 530 graphics, LGA1151 socket, support DDR3L-1600 or DDR4-2133 RAM and have 16 lanes of PCI-Express 3.0 connectivity. The processors support up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and are unlocked to let users overclock the chip to boost performance.
The Intel Core i7-6700K and Intel Core i5-6600K processors are priced at $350 and $243 respectively. Intel also plans to deliver an unlocked 6th Gen Intel core processor 'K' SKU for for notebooks later this year.

Acer introduces new Windows 10 laptops in India
The Acer Aspire E5-573 notebooks has two models based on screen sizes - 14-inch and 15.6-inch. It is powered by fifth-generation Intel Core Processor and can be configures with up to Nvidia GeForce 920M series graphics with dedicated DDR3 VRAM. Users have the options to add up to 16GB RAM and 1TB HDD. It features Acer's TrueHarmony Audio technology which has been optimised to work with Windows 10's Cortana voice assistant. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and other regular suite.Other features of these notebooks include BlueLightShield that decreases eye strain, Acer’s Precision Touchpad technology, Accidental Contact Mitigation tech. They are Skype-certified and comes with a textile pattern on the A-cover and D-cover, which are manufactured using 3D scanning of fabric samples.
The Acer V Nitro Black Edition is a gaming laptop. It sports 15-inch 4K resolution IPS display with Acer ComfyView non-glare technology. Under the hood there is fifth generation Intel Core i5 processor clubbed with up to 2GB/4GBNvidia GeForce GTX960M GPU from handling high-end games and 8GB or 12GB RAM and comes with 1TB HDD. It houses DustDefender technology, which removes the internal buildup of dust using the metal-fan. There is also CoolBoost technology that enables users to enable faster fan speed and set lower GPU/CPU temperatures. Also there is Dolby Digital Plus Home Theatre with four speakers. The laptop sports patterned covers that are produced using Nano Imprint Lithography technology.
The Acer Aspire E5-573 notebooks will be available at a starting price tag of Rs 26,499. The Acer Aspire V Nitro Black Edition and Aspire R13 will be available starting at Rs 1,10,000 and Rs 89,999 respectively.
Pipo announces X1, its first PC-on-stick
Chinese tablet maker Pipo announced its first PC-on-stick dubbed Pipo X1. It was initially unveiled at Computex last month, where Ben Lao CEO of Pipo showed a prototype of Pipo X1. Now the company have revealed the specs of Pipo X1.
The Pipo X1 looks similar to the Intel compute Stick, it seems like most of the PC-on-stick's are based on Intel's reference design and offers the same specs.
Pipo will offer the X1 PC-on-stick with a choice of Windows or Android and the device may also be available with dual-OS option.

Giada F200 is a fanless mini-PC for $110
Mini PC maker Giada announced the F200, a mini-OC that can be mounted at the back of displays and has a fanless design for silent operation.
The Giada F200 is equipped with dual-core Intel Celeron N2870 Bay Trial processor with Intel HD graphics and 2GB RAM. The mini PC supports both eMMC (8GB or 16GB) and mSATA solid state storage options. It features a dustproof metal chasis and consumes just 4.3W of power when used.
Other features include Gigabit Ethernet controller, RJ45 port on the back panel, HDMI port USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and an optional VGA port. There is also a Mini PCI-Express slot through which you can install a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth module.
Giada F200 supports Windows 8.1, Linux and Android OS and can be widely applies in thin-client visualization terminals, digital signage and industry control.
Giada F200 carries the price tag of just $110. There is no word on its availability.

Zotac ZBOX CI322 nano Fanless Mini PC announced
ZOTAC ZBOX CI322 nano is powered by Intel Celeron J1900 Bay Trial processor (quad-core, 2.0 GHz up to 2.41 GHz) with Intel HD graphics and includes integrated 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Gigabit Ethernet for wireless network connectivity. It has a DDR3L slot which can house up to 8GB RAM
Like most of Zotac's mini PCs, ZBOX CI322 nano comes in two model - barebones and Plus. For barebones model you will need to supply and install your own OS while the Plus model packs 8GB RAM and 64GB SSD.
Other features include DisplayPort, HDMI, 4 x USB 3.0 ports, USB 2.0 port, mic & headphone jacks, microSD card reader with an external adjustable antenna. It measures 127 x 127 x 45mm and has a compartment of storage size 2.5-inches. If neccesary the ZBOX C1322 nano can be mounted behind the monitor.
The pricing of Zotac ZBOX C1322 nano is not revealed, but is expected to be priced under US$ 150.

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook running Windows 10 launched
Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and Cloudbook 14 features 11-inch and 14-inch HD (1366 x 768 pixels) LED back display. Inside there is an 1.6GHz Intel Celeron processor with 2GBRAM DDR3L RAM. Cloud 11 comes with 16GB or 32GB storage while the Cloud 14 comes in either 32GB or 64GB storage models. Both the notebook offer HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and microSD card slot. On the connectivity front they support WiFi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0 and has Dual digital microphones for a better Cortana experience. Other features include mineral gray cover with dotted textile pattern for tactile feedback, full-sized chiclet keyboard and large touchpad supporting Windows 10 gestures.
Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and 14 comes with 1-year subscription of Office 365 Personal and up to 1TB OneDrive online storage. They also come with Acer's cloud-enabled abApps, including abPhoto, abMusic, abDocs, and abFiles that will allow users to sync their documents with their devices.
The Aspire One Cloudbook 11 will be available in North America in August with prices starting at US$ 169, followed by EMEA region in September with prices starting at 269 Euros. The Aspire One Cloudbook 14 is will be available in North America in September with prices starting at $199 and in October in EMEA with prices starting from 299 Euros.
Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 with 32GB storage, Windows 10 now available for $190
Now, Acer has started to sell the Aspire One Cloudbook 11 32GB model for $190 and is available at Acer's website.
It features 11.6-inch (1366 x 768 pixels) LED back display and is equipped with1.6GHz Intel Celeron N3050 dual-core Braswell processor with 2GBRAM DDR3L RAM. It offers HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and microSD card slot. On the connectivity front they support WiFi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0 and has Dual digital microphones for a better Cortana experience. Shuttle XS 3500BB V4 fanless mini PC released
The Shuttle XS 3500BB V4 comes with a Celeron J1900 processor with Intel HD graphics (7th gen), 2GB RAM and 32GB SSD. It runs 64-bit Windows 8.1 with Bing and is upgradable to Windows 10.
Other features include HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA Ports, USB 3.0 port, three USB 2.0 ports, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, mic/headset jacks and card reader (SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards support). There is also a microSD card reader and a room in the case that can house 2.5-inch storage drive.
Shuttle's fanless mini PC measures 25 x 16 x 3.75cm, weighs 2.1kg and comes with VESA mouth that let you attach the machine to the back of a monitor to create all-in-one PC.
The Shuttle XS 3500BB V4 is currently available in Europe for 287 Euro ($310).

Dell's Chromebook 13 is designed for corporate customers, prices start at $399
Chromebook 13 comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass NBT touch solution, is equipped with 5th generation Intel Core i3 or i5 processor with up to 8GB RAM (2GB, 4GB, 8GB) and promises up to 12 hours of battery life. In comes in two storage options- 16GB and 32GB SSD.
There is a 720p HD video webcam, dual array microphone and stereo speakers. As for ports, there is USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI port and an AC port. It supports 802.11AC Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
The Chromebook 13 features premium chassis materials including a carbon fiber weave cover, magnesium alloy palm rest and aluminum base making it light and sturdy.
The Dell Chromebook 13 starts at USD $399 and will be available beginning September 17 in the U.S. and Canada. The pricing depends on the choice of processor or RAM you choose, the higher price being $899.

Archos Flip Convertible Notebook announced
French brand Archos introduced a new Hybrid laptop that can also be used as a tablet, Archos Flip that sports a similar design to Lenovo Yoga. It runs Windows 10 OS and can be flipped 360 degrees until the notebook transforms to a tablet.
Archos Flip features 11.6-inch HD touchscreen display with 1366 x 768 pixels and is equipped with Intel Atom X5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is a 2-megapixel front facing camera for video calling. On the connectivity front it supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB 3.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 8000mAh battery.
Archos Flip is priced at €249 ($280) and will hit the market in November. The company will present the Archos Flip at the IFA trade show in Berlin in September alongside Archos 50 Cesium Windows 10 phone and Archos Diamond S, 50e Helium Android phones.

Tronsmart Ara X5 Windows 10 mini PC with Cherry Trial SoC available for $150
In China, Tronsmart is one of the most popular mini PC maker. Last month the company introduced a new Windows 10 mini PC / TV Box in the form of Tronsmart Ara X5. Now the little PC is available for purchase via Geekbuying for $150.
Tronsmart Ara X5 measures just 4.7 x 4.5 x 11 inches in size. Inside there is Cherry Trail Z8300 quad-core 1.8 processor, further aided by Intel HD GPU, 2GB RAM and has a storage capacity of 32GB.
Other features include 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x USB 3.0 port, HDMI and 10/100 Ethernet. There is a microSD card slot incase you need more storage and connectivity is provided by Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11ac dual band.

AsusPro BU201, BU401 business-centric ultrabooks launched in India
The AsusPro BU201 features a 12.5-inch LED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. It runs 64-bit Windows 8.1 professional and is powered by Intel Core i5-4210U processor (2 cores, 4 threads, 1.7GHz base clock, up to 2.7GHz Turbo clock) aided by Intel HD Graphics 4400and 4GB RAM. The notebook comes with 500GB of hard disk drive storage, Microsoft Office 2013 trial pack, an HD webcam, MaxxAudio and SonicMaster-powered speakers, 2-cell battery and illuminated chiclet keyboard with backlit keys. In terms of connectivity it supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, an Ethernet port, a multi-format card reader, three USB 3.0 ports, and a mini DisplayPort.

Lenovo Thinkpad P50 and P70 mobile workstations with Intel Xeon chips announced
The ThinkPad P50 and P70 features 15.6-inch and 17-inch 4K UHD display that comes with X-Rite Pantone color calibration keeping colors accurate throughout the life of the product. They are powered by Intel Xeon E3-1500M v5 processor with NVIDIA Quadro graphics. They are loaded with up to 64GB ECC DDR4 RAM, support for up to four storage device and upto 1TB PCIe SSD. Both the machines run Windows 10 and include DVD-RW drive, which can be removed for an additional SSD up to 512GB or a up to 1TB mechanical drive.
Other features include four USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, mini-Display Port, Gigabith Ethernet, two Intel Thunderbolt 3 ports, an Express card slot, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and a docking connector. The ThinkPad P50 and P70 also features FLEX performance cooling system with dual-fan design offering cooler, quieter and faster performance.
The ThinkPad P50 is packed by a 4 cell, 66Whr battery and weighs 2.5kg. It supports three storage device, one Thunderbolt 3 port and lacks DVD-RW drive. The ThinkPad P70 is backed by 8 cell, 96 Whr battery, measures 1.2-inch think and weighs 3.4kg.
The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 prices start from $1,599 and the P70 begins at $1,999. They will be available in Q4 2015.
