Blackberry Z3 Launched in India at Rs. 15990

BlackBerry launched Z3 in India at Rs 15,990 on 25th June 2014. The phone is now available for pre-order from ecommerce site Fkipkart and BlackBerry stores and the smartphone will eventually be available from 2nd July 2014 .


BlackBerry Z3 sports a 5-inch qHD (540x960p) display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8230) dual-core processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1.5GB RAM. The phone runs on Blackberry v10.2.1 operating system.
It also features a version of BlackBerry Map that offers 2D maps, local search, and 3D voice guided turn-by-turn directions for users in India. The BlackBerry keyboard also supports
Hindi and Hinglish predictive input.

The phone comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 1.1MP front-facing camera. The smartphone has 8GB storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB. It has a 2500mAh battery, which the company claims, offers up to 15.5 hours talk time and up to 16.2 days of standby time. In terms of connectivity options, the phone offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, FM radio and GPS.
